Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is set in the 1968 to 1981 era and the story of the game revolves around the hunt of a spy codenamed Perseus.
The developers have officially revealed the game in their latest trailers. The trailers show the premise of the game with some gameplay footage. The release of the game is November 13, 2020. Fans can play multiplayer mode has the trailer reveals. The trailer shows off the real-life and in-game footage between the years 1968 to 1981. From the trailer, we can guess that the spy codenamed Perseus has infiltrated western intelligence which results in something big to happen which could shift the balance of the cold war. The footage showed in the trailer is captured from PlayStation 5.
The beta version of the game will be available first for PlayStation 4 only for those players who will pre-order the digital copy. Players will also get access to a new operator named ‘Woods’ in Modern Warfare and the Battle Royale Mode.
The developers of the game have decided to reveal the worldwide multiplayer on September 9. There are three editions of games that can be pre-ordered.
- The Standard edition will cost $23.89
- The Cross-Gen Bundle will cost $28.37
- The Ultimate Edition will cost $37.33
The Cross-Gen Bundle will allow you to play the game on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is not up for pre-order for Microsoft yet but they have listed in Battle.Net for PC.
For PC the Ultimate Edition will cost $89.99 and the Standard Edition will cost $59.99 with the same pre-order benefits which will be given to PlayStation buyers also includes early access to the beta version.
