Today we are going into the depth review of Techno’s latest budget smartphone Techno Spark 6. Tecno has been advertising this phone for a few days in Pakistan the phone is available to purchase from September 21. This phone is priced at 20,599 Pakistani rupees but consider it 20,600.
The phone has a couple of interesting features for this price segment.
First of all, the Helio G70 processor that gives an impressive performance in this price range. Helio G70 processor is now around a year old but still in budget smartphones, it’s doing better.
Secondly, this phone has a 5000mAh of battery and it supports 18-watt fast charging. The phone has 4 cameras on the back adding the front camera, and it’s five in total.
It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.
Techno Spark 6 comes in nice packaging which we think is a good first impression when you unbox the phone. The phone is available in four different colors Ocean Blue, Comet Black, Dynamic Orange, and Misty Violet. In our opinion, Black and Violet’s colors are more attractive.
In box you will get the SIM eject pin, a 13-month warranty car unlike 12-months with most brands and safety information is included. You will also get a transparent phone cover from the box.
Well, Tecno is giving good quality covers indeed.
Let’s talk about Techno Spark 6 tiny charger, it doesn’t look like a fast charger which is not. it’s a standard 10-watt charger but let us tell you that Techno Spark 6 supports 18-watt fast charging but you have to buy a fast charger from the market you will not get this thing in the box.
Also, there could be compatibility issues so must check before buying.
This price segment hardly offers you a pair of good quality earphones but this phone indeed does.
Let’s talk about its design, the phone is an all-plastic body but finishing doesn’t seem to be impressive, unlike the impressive internal features of this phone. There is thin-lines texture and the reflections look good in light shades.
The build quality of Techno Spark 6 is similar to other brands in this price range.
There are 4 cameras on the back, the main camera is 16MP, a 2MP depth sensor, another 2MP macro camera, and one more 2MP camera which is an AI lens this is what on Techno papers. The circular camera module is also a good one. There is an 8MP front camera in the punch hole which is good enough to take a decent selfie.
The fingerprint sensor is on the backside, but it looks tiny. On the right side, we have a power button and a volume rocker. There is nothing on the top side, if we see the bottom side of the phone there is a 3.5mm audio jack. a micro USB port and a mouthpiece the loudspeaker is hosted on top with earpiece, you will get a single loudspeaker on this phone.
The SIM tray is on the left side and it features a dedicated microSD card slot, you can use 2 nano-SIM cards and a microSD card all at once.
What we think that there can be a problem in handling some users especially due to thinner edges but using a back cover can minimize this risk. This phone comes with Android 10 and HiOS 7.0. User Experience is not that different from previous versions.
The phone comes with 720×1640 of the resolution, the screen size is 6.8 inches which is impressive and it offers 263ppi pixel density. Screen to Body Ratio is 83%, sharpness is moderate. The thing which didn’t impress us was the brightness, the user will face some issues in outdoor usage.
Infinix and Tecno, both have almost identical user experience with minor differences.
